Bradford Leigh crossroads - traffic light attempt to stop crashes

9.06.00am BST (GMT +0100) Tue 4th Aug 2009

Recent improvements at Bradford Leigh crossroads, including interactive warning signs, have not stopped motorists from crashing.

The council has now decided that "more comprehensive measures" are required and a set of traffic lights will be put in.

This will mean some land being purchased alongside the highway and will also depend on budgets. It could happen in the current financial year if all went well, but is more likely to be done next year.
